A History of Western Philosophy and Its Connection with Political and Social Circumstances from the Earliest Times to the Present Day, New York: Simon and Schuster 《西方的智慧》 1959. Wisdom of the West: A Historical Survey of Western Philosophy in Its Social and Political Setting, London: Macdonald 《西方的智慧》→《哲學簡史》中羅素的前言 圖片取自 2024 崧燁繁中版 ，當提到 《西方哲學史》，加註了英文書名 ， 當提到此所謂《哲學簡史》，並未加上英文書名。 《西方的智慧》中譯版本 簡體版最早是1992年馬家駒、 賀霖譯，北京世界知識出版。 簡體譯本相當多，有些仍題為《西方的智慧》，更多是《哲學簡史》。甚至自訂英文書名，例如 "a brief history of philosophy" 或 "a short history of philosophy" .副標題也訂得有些自由。 崧燁 2024 這本繁中版《哲學簡史》，實則是「簡轉繁」。 Wisdom of the West: A Historical Survey of Western Philosophy in Its Social and Political Settingy 在台灣則有1996 年業強出版的《西方的智慧》。 這個譯版由台大哲學系四位學友：何保中、...
